As stated in Vol. 1, Subconscious Coons work to realize the White Supremacist claim that Black people are unruly savages incapable of self-sustainment and governance. In Vol 2., we are going to take a step further and analyze real life examples of Subconscious Cooning and how individuals of this persona rebuke and undermine any type of order and structure within the Black community.

Exhibit A: Turkey Leg Hut

The Background

For those not in the know, the Turkey Leg Hut is a Houston-based restaurant well-renowned for their modern takes on Southern favorites. Earlier this year, it gained national attention for two reasons:

  • A group of Suspected White Supremacists conspired to have the restaurant shut down.
  • The enacting of a dress code to maintain a family friendly atmosphere.
While we’ll be focusing on the dress code for most of this article, it’s important that we provide background on the conspiracy that thrusted the restaurant into the national spotlight. In 2019, 6 neighbors in the newly gentrified community sued the Turkey Leg Hut in hopes to shut it down. Their complaint stated that the Turkey Leg Hut had reduced their quality of life with congested parking conditions and by the smoke billowing through the neighborhood. Not long after, leaked emails surfaced that revealed the true motivations of these neighbors and how they created and funded an organization specifically to force the Turkey Leg Hut out of business. The most damning part of the email read “the ultimate goal of this litigation is obviously for the TLH to be somewhere else and not on our corner but that cannot be the stated goal”. This leak was met with intense outrage and as a result, the Black community rallied around the Turkey Leg Hut and forced the neighborhood association to stand down.

The Dress Code of Doom

Fast forward to 2021, the TLH once again found itself under attack but not at the hands of suspected white supremacists, this time by the hands of low-class degenerates. These individuals would frequent the establishment in revealing tops, baggy pants, and other degenerate clothing while playing loud music and flinging expletives at will. These behaviors culminated in an uncomfortable environment for their clientele so to mitigate the issue, they implemented a dress code. The dress code reads as follows:

  • No excessively revealing clothing (including distressed or ripped clothing)
  • No house attire (such as wave caps, du-rags, house shoes, shower caps)
  • No exposed undergarments (including sports bras, bras and panties)
  • No swimwear of any kind
  • No apparel sporting obscene language on it
  • No baggy clothing
Before we talk about the response to the dress code, let’s examine it. At face value, none of these articles are inappropriate or tasteless, I personally wear durags to bed, I wear house shoes when I fetch the morning newspaper, and swim wear when I’m at the beach; but context is key. Context means that wearing revealing clothing and articles with explicit language may be appropriate at a nightclub, strip club, or other adult establishment but immediately BECOMES a sign of degeneracy when worn around children. Why? Because an individual of decent moral character understands that children shouldn’t be subjected to sexualized body parts and/or obscene language. But let’s hold that point and start to look at the response to the dress code.

Coon Twitter Adds its $0.02

So, this tweeter instantly accuses the owners of racial profiling based on their dress code. What this poster is subconsciously revealing is that they associate blackness with wearing obscene and revealing garments in inappropriate situations. To clarify, they are not associating blackness with the intelligence of Malcolm X, the bravery of Harriet Tubman, the complexity of Jazz, or the solidarity of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, nope, just DURAGS! His view of Black society is no different than a White supremacist.

This next tweeter puts their degeneracy on full display by creating a false binary for Black people; we either wear obscene and revealing garments in inappropriate situations or wear our easter’s best. To her, there is no middle ground between obscene attire and church clothes; she views Black people as either righteous or ratchet. Classy, dignified, and well-behaved Black people are not even a thought to her. Once again, her view of Black society is no different than a White supremacist.

A Subconscious Coon Takes Center Stage on The Black Authority

The next example comes to us by way of The Blackest Radio Program in the Cosmos, The Black Authority. On Jason’s, 11-JUL-21 show, a caller expressed his discontent with the dress code, and it exemplified the mind state of the subconscious coon. For the sake of brevity, we will not get into the full exchange, but we will highlight certain points that show the despicable nature of the subconscious coon.

RJ: “I just don’t want the foundation that built the prominence of the turkey leg hut to be turned away”
When you first hear this quote, it seems noble and as if he is concerned about a particular demographic but he’s being disingenuous. He’s not concerned about a group being ostracized because later in the program he admitted that price hikes that disenfranchised this population would be acceptable. His concern is a veneer over his desire to resign the Turkey Leg Hut to a fate of low-end customers because he views blackness like a white supremacist… classless, amoral, and unfit.

RJ: “They didn’t have a problem with the prior patronage until the white influx came in and they are only catering to their white customers”
This statement is telling because he is removing agency from the Black Proprietors and Customers and placing it onto the White people in the neighborhood. In his mind, it is impossible for Black people to be against the degenerate behavior, our admonishment of it is simply us trying to appease White people. Take a second and let that sit with you, he is SUBCONSCIOUSLY informing you that he associates good behavior with White people and EXPECTS it from them. Therefore, our rebuking of the degenerates MUST BE a result of a directive from White people rather than us advocating for our own natural wishes and desires.

RJ: “Wave Caps, Durags, and House Shoes, I don’t see how it brings down the establishment of a paying patronize. [sic]”…”I believe this specifically targets African Americans”
Much like the tweeters, he is associating the wearing of inappropriate clothing with blackness. The fact that these items are not classless in the proper context is the loophole they use to justify their stance. They don’t look at the context because that would require them to provide understanding to the Black business but remember, they only reserve that privilege to White establishments.

RJ: “I don’t think you need to exclude Black people to have upscale clients”
This is a troubling statement because he considers Black people and upscale clients as two separate individual things. In his eyes, Black people are degenerates so there is no way Turkey Leg Hut could be kicking out the degenerate Black people to make way for upscale Black clientele. Upscale clients to him are non-Black, so the Turkey Leg Hut catering to upscale clients is automatically rejecting Black people.

RJ: “Don’t play the coon music, I’m not a coon”
This is why it’s called subconscious cooning because they do not know they are cooning. They believe they are making constructive arguments that help maintain the natural order.

What we see in all these responses is that establishing a base level of decorum isn’t viewed as an act to protect the viability of the restaurant, it is looked upon as a direct attack on the Subconscious Coon’s view of Black society. These people patronize the Turkey Leg Hut in all types of degenerate manners because they do not RESPECT the Black establishment or people. They are unwilling to see the owner’s rationale for implementing the dress code because they do not provide UNDERSTANDING to Black businesses.

RJ: “I don’t sag in these establishments, so I never been accosted by these rules”
Jason Black: “but those are rules at those establishments”
RJ: ‘”I wasn’t privy to that.’
RJ’s behavior in White establishments most likely is congruent with Row 3 of the Subconscious Coon Matrix from Vol. 1. He respects the rules in White establishments AS THEY ARE so he would never think to challenge them like he does in a Black establishment.

When frequenting a establishment with a code of conduct…Terry takes pride in showing others that he is able to abide by the code of conduct.Terry displays lack of regard for rules and demands the ability to partake in whatever degenerate behaviors he please.

In Summation

In closing, If the Turkey Leg Hut ran their business according to the people analyzed in this article, it would remain a haven for degenerate behavior. Black people with good moral character would eventually stop patronizing the establishment as they would no longer be in like company. Reduced revenue would lead to less re-investment which could manifest itself as disrepair, inventory shortages, longer wait times, and customer dissatisfaction. As you can see, following the path of the Subconscious Coon leads to destruction and if the Turkey Leg Hut did survive, the inevitable shooting or fight would be the justification the gentrifiers need to get it shut down permanently.

White Supremacist doctrine claims that Black people are unruly savages incapable of self-sustainment and governance. It’s the role of the Subconscious Coon to cause dysfunction in any Black collaboration to ensure this claim is always true. For far too long we have provided these people safe haven and given credence to their arguments and guidance. We must learn from the Turkey Leg Hut and no longer submit to these undercover agents of white supremacy aka The Coons Next Door.

I am glad the owner decided to stand up and do something so she could save her business. She came to a logical decision not an emotional one. I think many people can overlook a durag in a public place. It is the sagging pants for men and woman's breasts and ass almost out in a family friendly environment that many people would say is the problem. I hope to eat there when I visit that city later on this year.
