In that case you may need look into portable solar systems. They have solar that can be folded up into a backpack. That way you can cut your energy costs. Gotta get off the apartment plantation. I was there too. They rob us by making us pay just to have a roof over our head. My wife and I escaped with a tax refund and a stimulus check. Get out by any means necessary
Which specific ones do you recommend? Have you ever used them?

The main issue is that I'm looking for somewhere to eventually move to but all of the housing, land and land plots, and vehicles that I come across are so expensive to purchase now. The affordable houses in the market are ran down, "AS IS", out of date, having limited space, requiring a lot of repair, or subpar at best. Used vehicles are also expensive to repair and mostly unreliable. And I don't want to be gentrified out the place I'm at or the place I'm moving to. I prefer to have a home with a finished basement and plenty of space (I'm currently cramped without a basement) for myself and the stuff I have also with a reliable car or van, but the current options are just outright expensive and unattainable anymore.

I unfortunately don't have enough income to even qualify for a house or mortgage. My current living situation, while not the most desirable, is the best that I can do at the moment.

Im praying for you sis. The Most High will make a way he always does. This is a video from the Israelites camp I follow. I trust these brothers although I have not directly used the products highlighted in this video. I am looking into purchasing some though. Hope this helps you.

Sounds like its generator time my friend. Those solar ones are a little pricey but it's a one time cost. Once you have it you are set for life.
WHAT IS A GOOD SOLAR GENERATOR BRAND? I'M HEARING OF A BLACK MAN HAVING A SOLAR GENERATOR.

I've been AWOL here as of late because I'm last-minute prepping. I've been prepping for years but because I live in FL I stay ready for hurricanes and nuclear threats. This year has been pretty alarming to I've been prepping. I'm not sold on solar either because the back for a lot of this push comes from the same people who plan plandemics. These people have never done anything to help humanity, therefore, ain't no way in hell I'm getting ready to sit around and think they've suddenly invented something to help us now.

I'm gardening, but it's been difficult this year with all the varied weather. Home has enough staples to make it through months of difficult times and feed a few stragglers if need be. My mindset is basic. Our ancestors did not have solar panels, refrigerators, banks, and other creature comforts and they survived just fine. I'm not about to ball out of control buying all their creature comforts (solutions) for problems they made. This mindset keeps us indebted and dependent on them. I'm gonna use sunlight, moonlight, and candlelight. I have plenty of wood to burn if I need to cook and I have chafing fuel and small metal stoves to cook inside should it be too dangerous to cook outside. I have a way to treat and filter water in the event of a local water crisis. I'm prepared for nuclear threats. I have books to help me with first aid, and I've purchased plants that can be used as survival medicines.

I run to the dollar store to buy hygiene products and things to barter with, the hand can openers, etc. I have canned goods, baking supplies, condiments, etc. so that I can alternate between food grown and stocked preps in case the weather is bad (because they can control that too). Went to the pet stores and Tractor Supply to buy animal antibiotics (they are the same as people meds, just gotta know how to do medicine math for dosage purposes). I have hand-crank radios. a few small generators, hand tools to chop wood. Got power tools to protect my property. Extra fishing stuff to fish. I purchased a composter and added red worms to it so that I will have bait and my own fertilizer. I harvest seeds from any fruit or veggie I purchase from the store to add to my collection. I have been collecting old CDs and movies that I can play on a small non-digital device if the SHTF. Been decluttering, getting rid of waste, and preparing on living off the grid-like a hunter-gatherer because I am not getting anything planning on tracking my carbon emissions.

Prep until you can't anymore is all I can say. Soon money will be worthless, buy what you can to survive. Things are failing fast globally and we don't know what they are going to come back on line with when this nation gets back on its feet. I see a lot of people being desperate and having to do whatever like they did with that jab to keep them ole slave jobs. Don't be caught desperate. The global realignment is going to happen whether we prepare or not. The new order won't care about our old problems with America. Be prepared to save yourselves.

I'd rather be 10 years early than 1 day too late. #prep
You know scares me? The fact that I don’t have enough land to grow food. I have some backup food supplies but I wish I had something that was ongoing. I’m hoping in the downturn I can get some land so that I can set a serious contingency plan.

You also can grow indoors, using potted plants. Fruits, veggies & herbs.

I hear great things about ecoflow. They have portable solar generators as well as generators that come with solar panels. You can find their products on amazon.

Grow in 5 gal buckets. When you do get your land whatever you've grown will be easy to transport and they will thrive in those buckets for a couple years.

Great technical creative skills but why is it that we, black people, are always the ones to feel compelled to brow beat ourselves with that loaded 'work hard' mantra as if it only applies to us which our oppressors like to use to undermine us when no other group were ever forced to work 365 days a year for FREE for 500 years until the muscle separated from the bone?! Not trying to diminish your talented work Bruh but the catchy part of the lyrics referencing it touched that particular peeve whenever I notice it. Everyone should be intrinsically responsible for their own livelihood but we're always the ones that overwhelmingly apply that ethic while our competitors comfortably benefit from our work ethic mindset that they have no intention of practising. We shouldn't have to keep working harder than everyone else.

I have always told my friends that the only for us to beat our current system is to find a way to work and provide for ourselves without having to expect anything from the government. In case anything happens tomorrow, you can be able to stand up tomorrow and hold out for a very long time. Rendering services is one good way to go about this in my opinion and getting into agriculture is a very good way to go about it.

Excellent point. Very true. We have to do for self and moreover provide services to our own people.

This was great and Nini really enjoyed it.
Happy to hear that brother. That's what it's all about spreading the info to our people in addition to reinforcing the notion our people are very capable in everything we do.

Brother? I am so proud of Nini and this garden. I am going to till the 2nd half today so she can get those vegi plants planted. I still have the hardwood ask that I spread on top before I turn the ground over. This electric Tiller is a beast and it was sent here overnight. It may not be as powerful as my great uncles gas tiller but by the time you finished with our she wasn't sore at all. Going to Sams club for canning jars just like that sista has.

Thank you for keeping us updated. This is amazing!! That ash method is amazing. Also can you share the brand of that electric tiller. That's a major move right there. Canning jars are a must. You all are really on your way!! Im blessed to witness it. Keep up the great work.

I'm posting this because we need to turn our active income into passive income to truly be self sufficient. This brother has given sound investing advice for the last couple of years.
125 shares minimum. To see a major kickback.

My intent for creating this thread is for us to share with each other what we are doing to prepare for this country's system to fall.

Because we all know its coming.

    I'm talking:
    Gardening.
    Alternative power
    Livestock
    Water catchment
    Tips & tricks etc.

We need to gird up family.

    #B1
I need to get up with folks outside of my family because they are not prepping.

Wow!! I find the information in this video very useful. I have just subscribed to his channel for more updates whenever he uploads a new content. People really need to get into agriculture because it's one solid way to our self sufficiency.

I'm already making using of solar power and it's been so good ever since I have them panels installed. As for livestock, I'm considering going into either snail or fish farming. I have a little poultry going on now.

Solar is amazing. We're running off of a wind and solar hybrid system and we love it. We've learned that it's all about power storage. A few good batteries will keep your system running for a long time. Wow snail farming? Never heard of that.

That is sooo amazing. Do you have to really be cognizant of how much power you’re using? How big of a sacrifice are you having to make since you’re not on the grid?

We're still in the process of building our system up to where we want it to be...but with the system we have now we can pretty much do everything we did on the grid off the grid. We do have to allocate power at times but after about a year we've gotten used to what appliances can be used at the same time and which ones cannot. I cook on an electric cooktop, my husband plays his game, we watch TV at night. It may feel like a sacrifice at first but the freedom of being able to control your own resources is a powerful feeling.

If you haven't already, start learning how to make your own compost. I just saw this today....

They always find new ways to try and consume our energy. As far as regular composting, it makes gardening ten times easier when you are planting in a great composting bed.

I would add that grass clippings from the lawn mower and leaves from the trees in your yard. Makes great compost too. I mix them together and put it in a small garden I have. Save me money on trash bags too.

Where I am from we own farms and farm lands and most people are taught how to grow and process their own food locally from a really young age.

I don't like to be totally dependant so sometimes I deprive myself of certain things just so I would get used to not having it even before I can't have it any longer.

I don't know about you, I was getting overwhelmed as to where to begin in my preparedness journey because wanted to do everything at once but my bank account is telling me to pump my brakes and do one thing at a time. I just did not know where to start. I found this calendar online that might be helpful in getting started.

I feel you on that. I have all these things planned and I want them all done today. But it is not possible. There's only so much you can do in a day, a week, a month. A friend of mine always tells me one day at a time. This calendar is going to be a great help with my preppers anxiety.
    Thank you.

Wanted to give you all some inspiration. It pays ti aim for and think about self sufficiency. A year ago we made the move to live on our 5 acre plot of land. This past week we upgraded to a house. Now we don't pay a mortgage, no light bill because of solar power and we have water tanks on our land to connect all of our plumbing. You have to start somewhere. The goal is empowerment that can be passed down through generations. 20220929_090856.jpg
