I changed as well, I rarely wear white anything... undershirts, shirts, or likewise. A lot of it has to do with my time in the service industry though, we had to wear black t shirts and socks, and that just stuck with me.

My theory has been businesses make their products white for the same reasons why you hate them to be white.. so you have to come back and get more when the shit tarnishes, it's that simple. White soled sneakers should be illegal. It's amazing Air Force ones are as popular as they are but you really can't wear them more than the first weekend

I used to avoid contact with grass all the time when I rocked all whites

The only time I will wear white shoes is if I know they won't get dirty. Otherwise, I will do black with white trim or features. I don't wear a lot of sneakers though anymore. I do booties, wedges, boots, and the like and they are almost always in black.

White looks nice for about a minute but the second they get dirty, I don't wanna wear them anymore lol

I stopped buying them a few years back. I look for either black or dark shades of navy, gray, or green.

I rock white if I know I'll be indoors seated and unbothered. I wear white socks but with shoes on unless I'm home.

It also depends on where you live. If you live in a rainy climate white is horrible. If you live in tropical places or deserts white is fine. There’s no “no white after Labor Day” rules in places like CA.

I haven't worn or bought white socks in years.
White kicks in the summer time is a fresh, clean look, though.
