Amazon is getting worse and worse it seems. I mean I pay for Prime and the last 3 or 4 orders I did on there, that 2-day delivery was a joke. It was more like a 5 or 6-day delivery. One of the many reasons I am getting rid of it at the end of the year.I haven't had as many issues as you, but I have had orders that come in wrong. Especially with Amazon. Also, Amazon seems to take forever to ship anything, even if you choose faster shipping. Idk if it's just me, but it feels like it's happening every time I buy on Amazon. Honestly, I am kind of tired of Amazon. I feel like it's becoming worse, almost like it's becoming a Wish 2.0
I have had issues with damaged stuff coming in, but rarely do I deal with packages missing or being stolen. I did lose a package once, or it never arrived and UPS claimed it as lost. At least the site reimbursed me, but I think someone from UPS stole it. At the time it was an Xbox One X, so I was pretty pissed when it didn't come in.

The trick with Walmart, Target and places like that is to complain right away. A friend taught me that. I swear she isn't a Karen irl but she is one online when it comes to shopping lolI have had only one bad experience. I ONLY shop with Amazon because of their return policy. Once, I ordered from Walmart about a year ago.

If the site has a chat, you tell them the issue and 9 times out of 10, you will get a refund or a replacement.
