4, Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and the Damned from the HD Universe is bad ass too.

5 was....alright. Rockstar just pulled the old Skyrim routine....they've dropped the game on 3 different generations for the last 15 years. We're ready for 6!

HailCzr85 they were great games but the mechanics are janky no matter what you try to fool yourself into believing.

You may be fooled with the new trinkets Rockstar throws in like being able to eat or play tennis but the underlying mechanics of drive 5 miles to get drugs, shoot the 3 guys, and drive back has remained untouched. It’s the same ish in high fidelity.

You play a game like GTA 5 and then something like Breath of the Wild and GTA feels old and stale. It looks like Ferrari but drives like a Camry. BOTW looks like a Camry but is a whole ass Ferrari that still hasn’t been topped.

And there it is... Breath of the fucking wild.....

You sit here and complain about the mission parameters of Grand Theft Auto while you partake in a multi-player game every Sunday where you drop out of a plane, find a gun, kill the enemy, and run to the safe zone. GTA IS ABOUT CRIME!!! IT'S A CRIME DRAMA ACTION ADVENTURE GAME! DRUGS, THIEVERY, MURDER, GANGS AND SHIT ARE ALL APART OF CRIME!! How many got damn ways can crime be depicted for you Jay?!?! Do they do they murder different in Cali? Are they more artful about drug dealing that you would like to see in-game?!?! Hm?!?! HMM!?!!!?

Where is this energy for Sonic? Let's see Sonic is....you run around the board, grab rings, and jump on or defeat Egghead/Robotnik/or Whoever the Boss is. and then Level complete. You seem to be fine with that! You play ONE game that isn't even REMOTELY the same in terms of story, style, or gameplay and you go on this crucifixion warpath on Grand Theft Auto! You don't like GTA 5 because you don't like GTA5 fine!!! Don't like it then, but eff all this Breath of the Wild shit when the two games are apples and oranges.....you want to compare GTA 5 to RDR2 fine! GTA 5 to Mafia 3 FINE!! GTA 5 to Ghost of Tsushima I'D EVEN SAY FINE TO THAT!!!!!!! But what you're doing is UNFAIR AND DISINGENUOUS AND I'VE HAD IT UP TO HERE WITH IT!!!!!!

HailCzr85 comparing GTA to multiplayer deathmatch is ridiculous. The mechanics are the same on fortnite every session but every play through is different because of the different human players with differing skill levels and tactics.

A lot of GTA campaign turns into a game of auto aim whack a mole because they have yet to evolve the core mechanics of the gameplay. GTA wishes it’s shooting mechanics were as good as Fortnite.

Now as far as story, this where the game shines. The story of GTA IV was so real and grounded eventhough the first 20 hours of the game was boring padding dealing with Roman’s ass all day. But the game blossomed into an amazing story of growth and redemption that will always be an experience I remember.

GTA V had a stupid story that was doing too much with the 3 characters. The motivations were weak and it was hard to connect with any of them like I connected to Niko Bellic.

Now you take a weak plot with gameplay from GTA 3 and you have s stale ass game. But since people like flash and superficiality they don’t mind it because you can drive fast with good graphics and shoot.

But when it’s comes to a true sandbox feel where you are in a living breathing world…games like AC, HZD, GTA have been outclassed.
