Great thread for the purpose of archiving their views on black issues but while I haven’t watched the posted interviews yet I know 3/4 shows aren’t going to press them hard on our issues and the 4th I’m iffy on because I don’t they have the capacity to press these candidates on our issues.

I will not be voting for these people.. ever. None of them are worthy of the role. Barack Obama was the last great President and even he did not live up to the challenge. He did not hurt America but America hurt him. He’s not even the same man after they got done with him. Hell, he very well may be a clone. Remember he was sworn in twice.. 🤔Kamala Harris, her too. It sounds crazy but I was in those circles, those two are very different people now and I cannot explain it. I supported them both with my whole heart.. I would not do the same today. They seemingly received the golden ring and did nothing of substance for Black Americans… so voting for President is a nothing Burger. I’m still holding out hope that giving Democrats clear advantage in the house and Senate will give America a chance to make a change that Black people can hang their hat on. Republicans are not the answer for anything UNLESS Black people, B1s… take that party over. B1s have to organize and fill those seats. We cannot allow these Decepticons in each party, run the show like they have been…and that’s on period. Voting for President is a nothing Burger. Obviously

Blocking the current lot of Republicans is necessary.. Dr. West should have registered as a Republican and I would vote for him. That’s strategy 🤔

Thanks for posting this cause it is good to see where these people move... But I am not voting. There is no one I trust enough or that represents me as a black American. Not a damn one. Sorry.

I am really upset with how the Larry Elder episode went. He was effectively able to gaslight them and it was seen by white conservatives as win and how they saw it as 'proof' that black issues were not legit.
Vivek kinda did the same but not nearly as effective as Larry Elder.

I just want to know from the jump, you for or against cash reparations to those who are descended from American slaves and Freedmen, that's it.

There are tons of white liberals who profess to want programs, laws, whatever for Blacks in America, either specifically for us or some boat lifts all programs. However, they stop short on reparations. I wouldn't necessarily vote for her, and her initial number is too low but at least Williamson comes out for reparations. And addressed it before being asked. Which is way, way more than Black politicians like Cory Booker and others would say.

America paying reparations, as I've said before, would be the most transformative act globally. Not only is it owed, but I think it would ignite a global reparations movement and by extension (hopefully) a unified black voice globally (yeah, I know....but one can hope). You make the biggest, baddest country in the world pay, it has global repercussions.

RFK Jr seems like the only black option but he is too heavy on the climate change issue and is very much against gun ownership. I know the dude has a medical condition as well which sucks but it makes him so damn hard to understand and listen to for me.
