Divided City Council approves $51 million in migrant crisis funding

The raucous meeting saw speakers shouting each other down, prompting appeals for decorum from Mayor Brandon Johnson. In the end, the funds transfer passed 34-13 — enough to carry Chicago only through June 30.

This is unbelievable how we are treated. The government forces everything down our throats. We say reparations and people laugh! We are being forced out of our communities while they nation invests in illegal immigration and every other program except the betterment of black neighborhoods. Brandon Johnson is a puppet!

You’re right but the plan has nothing to do with Black people specifically, it’s all about businesses wanting to pay less for labor. We were on the lower end of the labor spectrum and so we are the first impacted but white people in tech jobs are getting hammered too.

The government has no loyalty to anyone but money. The reason why this is important is because it is going to call fascism to take place as the labor class revolts. We have to keep our eyes open at all angles.

It sucks but one thing that is happening that has not happened before is Black folks openly saying no to this type of thing. That's new. So, there is something "good" air quotes I see in all this.
Before this type of thing sailed through in big Dem cities with maybe a word or two against by some Republican alderman / council member.

At this point, I am not surprised. We have not done the things collectively that we should. We are constantly losing. We are making progress when it comes to more of our folks being aware of what we need to be doing.

the plan is to turn this into a 3rd world country so the corporations can reign under a dictatorship. Trump, the attacks on branches of government, and the non-consequences for Trump&company are paving the way for a dictatorship. And that person will have Clinton’s intelligence level.
The illegals and all the 3rd workers in control (mainly Indians, and some Africans) are used to 3rd world social chaos and lawlessness. All the kids ldeveloping during these times are also getting a crash course in 3rd world realities. It’s a perfect fit.
