Check out The African Disasporia News Channel on Africans say that they do not hire Black American hair braiders, which is blatant discrimination. These foreigners being able to come over here and establish businesses and acquire jobs and live here forever needs to end. They must be returned to their own countries so that they can build bus there and acquire jods at home.

This shouldn't surprise people really. Black Africans sold their people out for money during the slave trade. You think they will think more of blacks in America today? They view us as the bottom of the barrel, even if we didn't directly come from slavery. I feel like this is some sort of cult behavior and stems from a belief in curses and witchcraft. At least we ain't killing our kids because we believe they are cursed. They are doing nothing but stealing jobs and spitting on the people who came from a generation that suffered beyond belief.

I agree with you sis. Not supporting their business and getting them outta here and sent back home should be and remain at the top of our agenda. They have countries not understanding why we let them come here and remain here.

We should start sueing them people who get punked in there own countries should not feel comfortable playing us in pursuit the time of dealing with there disrespect is over

It starts with us not getting our hair done at those places. None of our money should flow into their pockets.

Black American women have a billion dollar industry ready for them if they would get on code for each other. The Asians with hair and nails and now this. Black American women could create untold millions if they got on code with each other.

Black men traditionally will only let other black men cut their hair. The barber shop (at least in the past) was more than a place to get your hair cut. It was a place some of the OGs hung out and the topics ranged. The move Barbershop was based on that culture.

Anyway, regarding the topic, when have Africans (and for that matter Caribbean businesses) ever hired Black Americans in any significant numbers? They are largely 'mom and pop' shops where their relatives work there. If they have a non Nigerian, Jamaican there its a Mexican.

I'm hoping a byproduct of the push for reparations, black empowerment, justice, etc extends in a code that transfers to who we do business with. Where we reduce it to people who are on code.

Exactly. It's a shame. Many of these Africans are getting punked in their own countries. Other races would NEVER stand for blacks PUNKING them in their own countries. I'm looking over at Africa, and you got Chinese people beating Africans with whips...In Africa. Arabs are in North Africa enslaving any Sub-Saharan African that comes to their country. Whites are in South Africa creating only white towns. Black Africans should own that continent from top to bottom. It's THEIR land. The other races are the invaders. Out here in the Bay I dealt with Africans, and I didn't like a lot of them, from my experiences with them. I talked about them extensively in my book, and that was years ago.

It's a book detailing my experiences growing up as a young black man in the Bay Area. I wrote it from 2002 - 2010. I got it published in 2011. I already talked about dealing with Africans in my book. I dealt with many of them out here. Many of them weren't cool at all. I talked about everything that I dealt with in that book. I did it, so that I would never forget it. I also put it out there for other black men to read. I got it posted on this site, if anybody is interested in getting it.

There is nothing anyone would be able to do about it either. But as you said Black women need to make the conscious decision to no longer work for the Koreans, sell for the Koreans, or but my from the Koreans. Korean manufacturer sales would tank and they’d be at our mercy.

That is discrimination and grounds for suing but you know, America loves to protect their immigrants, especially when they disrupt the black American population. It is still worth trying though!

I read somewhere that the whole thing was misconstrued that it was not the way she made it out to be so I think before there is outrage u have to be extremely sure it's accurate

It could have been walked back. In my experience, with stories like these, they are almost always true to some degree. Even if it was just a few people saying they won't want to hire black Americans, it was still said.
