Tim Scott is in a party that won't like that he's both Black and possibly LBGTQ+, unless he can be used as a tool against both.

The ill thing is that of Tim Scott knew Black people, he would know that we don't trip off gay people. We love Luther Vandross, Sylvester, Tyler The Creator, & Queen Latifah. We rock with Dennis Rodman* & Dwight Howard. Most of our churches have gays in the choir/usher board. All of us have a gay cousin. We don't care.
Tim Scott's problem is that he never spoke to, or in defense of, Black people. Nor does he plan to.
Tim Scott would NEVER get elected as a Black Republican in the south. They'll let in Miss Lindsey Graham, but no gay negroes. As a Black coonservative, Tim Scott is going to have to keep a beard until the day he leaves public office.

I fully agree. People would be astonished by how many closeted White homosexuals there are in Congress as well. Some participate in rituals at Bohemian Grove which is located near San Francisco. This is the place where presidents are chosen at. Some of the more popular House and Senators have attended as well. Tim Scott will have wished he spoke up for us. The chickens are coming home to roost.
