I personally believe that investing in any of these tech waves will not work for us as a group. I personally believe we have to get down to the basics and being able to food, clothe and shelter ourselves.
We can make money by providing core services to one another and then out of that can sprout next generation ventures that can be sustained by that base.

Black people absolutely should! We need to be ahead of the curve in emerging technologies, instead of always playing catch up.
High-tech lynching is real, and we need to stop being victims of it.
Use it to push an initiative and as non bias(for now) assistant to get/give you intel and perspectives that you other wise may have to pay in other means.
It’s no replacement for a mentor by far but it can help bounce one’s ideas off a index machine that is near limitless on where it pulls data sets from
But what does this mean in reality? It sounds good on paper but do you think if we can’t even get a chain of grocery stores open for Black people that we are gonna be able to replicate the language models we seeing built by OpenAI and then be able to leverage them for any type of good outcome for us? I may be wrong but it sounds like wishful thinking.
You were able to get/give us a place to communicate. Think of all the data point you had to utilize to bring it into fruition.
Now transpose your mission with todays tools and your drive and imagine what/where you could be.

We will always be good when we rely on one another. Our people, We/Us! …must understand that we are the architects! Stop giving our intellect and ingenuity away for free! But too many times we sellout instead of making it a black institution. For example, the young man that created the platform for Uber.. his vision didn’t allow him to see the future..
Our music is a prime example. We got handled handled. Manipulated out of ownership of our visions
Black people are not seemingly wired like white people, who have been greatly known to steal ideals and intelectual properties. I think many of us who have the means are waking up and creating empires. But back to AI, there is so much we can do with AI. For example. I’ve spent the afternoon asking the open ai chat to write legislation and executive orders that address equity for the black community. Although I could have written it myself. It has saved me so much time.. you can liters ask the chat to provide information and or instruction to accomplish an intelectual task.
Right now like you mentioned.. it’s unbiased. If it’s solely a white institution, I’m afraid it will become polluted and biased.. let’s hope not… but let’s not let that stop us from getting in on the ground floor of investments.
Elon Musk is promoting his Omega platform as the go to, the be all, the end all of AI platforms. I don’t trust him because of his lack of a moral compass or code.
