Yeah, I didn't think of that. But still, a lot of these boxers should be financially stable, and some clearly can't go anymore. Like Holyfield for example, I don't think he should have even been in that ring. He clearly wasn't in any shape to fight.I think it's because they're far past their prime, that it'd be pointless for them to go up against some of the younger guys. At least going up against these older MMA fighters, they probably have more of a chance of winning. As well, a lot of these retired fighters just want exhibition fights, so they don't have to do a ton of work. And I'm cool with exhibition fights when it comes to these older boxers coming back. But it's clear to me at least, that these older fighters shouldn't be doing full on fights. Just stick with exhibition imo.
