It’s a balancing act because China knows the USA is weak but its weak like Mayweather after he took that blow from Sugar Shane. The USA is still extremely dangerous in its weakened state so I believe China is waiting for the moment where drawing the US into war causes the US to topple. They’ll have to manage the full brunt of an American assault for a few months but the economics and political instability in the USA will cause the USA to lose.
