Naaaaaaah you don’t hold white people to those standards. When a Black man makes something now it has to be perfect.
Now you know that is not the case. We hold ourselves to high standards look around…that’s all that matters. We need to be able to have conversations about how we move internally without having to bring up others.

Overall, a solid movie I give it 4 out of 5. The only thing I didn't like is the low key Pan-Africanism. Everyone was not brought over here from Africa. Now I say this with genealogical research from my lineage. I have one Maternal Fulani ancestor who came after 1865 post slavery from Senegal and married a black cherokee man from NC. That is my only connection to the continent. My genealogy Ethnic tribes are indigenous: Coharie, Saponi, Etowah and Cherokee. Nothing against Pan-Africanism just not my cup of tea from an ideological perspective.

What's with this burgeoning dissociative sentiment tacitly abhoring Africa/Alkebulan? -as if it's not the birth place of ALL mankind.
Yeah, we have our lineages, cultures, mores and religions that gives us our different national identities but it doesn't abrogate the fact that we all originated from that continent. Why do black people keep getting hung up on this fact as if Africa is a genealogical by product, something to be ashamed of?! Whites envy us but we're ashamed of it 🙄

The movie had more proof that we are from Africa than we are indigenous. It actually did not prove we are indigenous at all.

Because a lot of these people want to say that they have been here snuggling under the White man longer than any other immigrant.
