Throughout the history of mankind, violent crime has always been a function of poverty if its pervasive in poor areas.
When white people say about us they use it as if its unique to us. Pretty much all the European immigrants came to America in the 1800s as socially conservative, moral and intact families.
Within a generation there were areas of NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Philly where the gangs that controlled the area were literally no go zones. The modern police department wasn't around then. The police protected the rich areas and businesses. That's it.
So, one has to ask how very conservative Irish, Italians (they didn't come here as part of the mafia from Sicily), and Jews who had no history of organized for 2000 years in Europe, suddenly produced Meyer Lansky, Dutch Schultz, Bugsy Siegel and others?
Same reasons southside Chicago, east Oakland, south central LA and north Philly have violent crime.
