Her name is Shanteari Weems and a lot of people on social media are demanding that she be let free.

She operated a daycare where she claimed her husband had been abusing children.

They were in a hotel where she shot her husband and was later arrested.


If he was doing this, can anyone blame her for shooting him? I think more needs to come out on this but if true, they better be let free. She was doing a service to the entire area by putting a cap in her husband's ass. I don't know of any woman who would be willing to shoot their own partner if they didn't know without a shadow of a doubt.

I got no problem with it. I am just sorry she was arrested. She should have planned his 'disappearance'. Were it me, and that being Baltimore...tell some of the homies in that life about it (like Michael in The Wire) and have it seem like a random robbery/murder.

This is the kind of thing where I feel like the law needs to favor the shooter. She was doing right by her community and trying to protect them. I know a lot of people will say she should have just reported his ass but how many pedos get away with this? Most don't even get arrested!
