Korean-Americans, Chinese-Americans, Jewish-Americans and many other groups whose media are either (online and print) newspapers, radio, small cable channels, make sure their group's voice is owned by them. They don't sell out to major white companies because the most important thing to them is communicating with their own without any one telling them what they can't say.We had that for a minute with black newspapers as well as BET, and other black media but no more. And the few that are black owned (The Grio) and others are sadly don't push a pro black agenda.Latino had their own voice at one time with Telemundo and Univsion but they sold out to the major white companies as well.
