The vibe is gone. The cost of living coupled with an endless influx of immigrants has made place in the mid-west & in the south major destinations for these ex-New Yorkers. This also sheds light on why New York Hip-Hop is by all means dead. There's no one left to pass the torch to. There's no one left to keep the feeling alive. In a few decades places like Harlem & Bed Stuy will be gone & forgotten.
