The level of incompetence is baffling. We have to do better.

Thankfully it appears that nobody was seriously injured, that said, we MUST do a lot better.

It's probably a combination of incompetence and a whole lot of corruption. Sub contractors cutting corners, not using all the ingredients for the cement, stuff like that. The one thing that separates developing countries from industrialized ones is the level of corruption. They are all corrupt but developing countries, anywhere, Asia, Central and South America permeates all through society and unfortunately in physical structures.

Inspectors are a combination of incompetence and corrupted. Paid off to give a good report.

I saw this video on Facebook few days ago and I had really wished for the so called commissioner that open the bridge to have fallen inside. They are just ugly, nasty and greedy politicians that would never use the state funds to build good infrastructure for the masses.

This is why I don't go on rides at carnivals. People are always out to cut corners and ignore safety precautions. People are always getting hurt. Thankfully, no one died from this but it could have been BAD.

Isn't it very obvious that the government have embezzled the bigger percentage of the money set out for the bridge 🌉 construction? In the end, it's still the poor masses that are supposed to be making use of the damn bridge that would suffering.

African leaders have failed! There are a few African leaders that are putting in efforts to better the lives of the citizens and it is a shame. If they let one in on how much that was spent to construct this bridge, you will see reasons not to take most of these leaders in Africa serious.
