Can't wait to pay $10 for some fries! LOL

It is crazy how much they went up since they upped what they pay their workers. Like they can't keep prices the same and pay employees more (at least places like McDs)?

Besides this, earning $22 an hour in Cali is like earning $11-12 elsewhere. It is crazy how expensive it is to live in Cali. Everything is more expensive.

Yeah I've heard California is pricey as all hell over there. $22 an hour will help, but damn, I can't see it doing much still. I have a friend who lives in LA and that's probably where prices are the highest, or close to it. Where I live is pricey, but it's not nearly as bad as what the cost of living in LA and surrounding areas is.

Here in Chicago I believe fast food workers are making near $15 an hour, maybe a little less. They might go with the minimum wage here, which is around $15hr, which would make sense.

It seemed in LA, more latinos working those jobs than blacks from what I recall years ago but still I'd like to see black folks in that industry making more money while hopefully still tryna get the skills to do better.

Man you rarely see us working those jobs now. If we do get a job in a fast food restaurant all eyes are on you.
