Teddy Ray has sadly passed away at age 32. Teddy Ray was an American comedian, internet personality, and actor who was best known for appearing on Russell Simmons’ comedy platform, All Def Digital and was one of the new cast members on Season 8 of Wild ‘N Out on MTV. Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of Teddy.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Teddy Ray is one of the hottest and upcoming stand-up comedians in Los Angeles and is considered by many to be an upcoming legend. In his first two years as a comedian, Teddy Ray broke enough stages to get his first TV booking on BET’s Comic View. He went on to make a name for himself through Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital, and not only was he a fan favorite, but his content helped the channel’s now 1.5 million YouTube subscribers. He recently joined the cast of MTV’s Wild ‘N Out Season 8 in a continued effort to be a comedy powerhouse, while he joins his best friend and co-star DoBoy, who has been on the show since Season 4. In just 6 years, Teddy has built a cult following on the internet and continues to make waves in the industry. For this LA West kid who just wanted a little joke, the sky was the limit.

He also starred with co-star DoBoy in a web series titled Teddy Ray & DoBoy: Blowin’ Up, which also airs on All Def Digital’s YouTube channel. He also appeared on ComicView. He is the second person on All Def Digital to be cast on the show, the first being his other co-star Doboy, who joined the show in season 5. He appeared in 2 episodes of season 8.

I remember even before COVID people were voicing their concern about his health. Even the last stand up video he had on he was talking about how folks expected him to catch COVID and be one of the frist wave of victims during the plandemic. Dude was hella funny and a natural. Alwasy felt like I was at BBQ listening to one of my cousins riffing watching him perform. He was one of the funniest of his generation.

So many of our people die young either from gang violence or health problems. Things need to change. This is just sad man. RIP Teddy!

I'm guilty of not watching what I eat all of the time. I'm not overweight or anything but I do have high cholesterol, we as a people really do need to start taking our health more seriously. R.I.P. to that brotha.

Heard about this the other day and couldn't believe it. I heard from someone he died from a car crash, but that was just some troll in the comment section. What sucks, is that this guy was going places I thought, he had a lot going for him.

I know he was pretty big the last time I saw anything on him, but I never would have expected him to die so young. I probably should start to lose some weight myself, i've put on the pounds in recent years, so this hits close to home for me.

This really came to my mind the very first day I heard about his death. It's sad that death doesn't give a rats a** about anyone and strike whenever it wants.

    RIP man.

He and slink were the ones that really made me pay attention to All Def. They were so funny. I hope teddy is resting in peace.

It hit me kinda deep cuz he always felt like kinfolk just from his down to earth delivery. I was really rooting for him the minute i first seen him do standup. He and DoBoy kinda carried ALL DEF in my opinion...didn't have the attention span for raost me, dad jokes were hit or miss. DoBoy and Teddy was their most consistent show. Plus, you could tell he was good people. His jokes were never mean spirited, which isn't usually the case with the funnier comics. Sad........also the circumstances surrounding his death sound a lil suspect.

Yeah he was such a genuine comedian. It seemed natural and unforced. He really put them on the map but I have to ask. Why do you think his death was suspicious? Homie was huge I think the McD’s got him.
