Creative Nicknames
My nickname is Big Jay because I’m tall and the first initial of my name.
One of my nicknames growing up was "Patch" cause I got one of those big flat birthmarks on my left shoulder. It isn't one that stand up on the skin. Like if you put your hand over it is is smooth but because it is darker than the surrounding skin it stands out a lot.
I had a few nicknames when I was younger. Was called Jim cos I had a fro that was bigger than my class mates (jim was slang for a fro in London back in the day).
Growing up the two groups with the nicknames that were the most were Blacks and Italians. One example is a brotha who we called Batman. He ran track and his stride looked like the cartoon beginning of the old Batman series from the '60s. Might have been one of his uncles or something like that I think because he had that nickname for ever.
But he was also a bit crazy too.
