I been lucky enough to see him four times live. The best set was in San Francisco around 2007. He did a lot of material that would end up on the last couple of specials. I saw him not too recently when he was doing all those shows in New York, and that night he had Black Star open up for him and then sets from Chris Tucker, Ashy Larry, Bill Bellamy, and even Seinfeld came and did a quick 20 minutes. By the time he came on stage, I was pretty gassed and the set wasn't all that memorable other than the jokes that would go on to be on some specials. Even when he isn't funny, he is still compelling, and although he does endorse some suspect individuals, I'll still listen to whatever he has to say.
