He currently coaches for Jackson State Tigers, who went undefeated in the regular season and a conference title in 2021. Troy actually made a topic about this accomplishment below. You may want to also check that out:

Deion Sanders Led Jackson State Goes Undefeated in Regular Season

This is exactly what they don‘t want to see. A brotha leading a team of brothas to success. No one can get the best out of a team of Black men better than another Black man. I hope Coach Prime keeps blessing us...

Back to the story at hand though, it looks like Colorado has offered the head coaching job to Deion Sanders, and he is said to be very interested in it. He was able to take Jackson State to a title, after the previous season they were 4-8. It's clear people want Deion to coach for a bigger team. Do you think he'll take the job? Or will he stick with Jackson State? Or maybe wait to hear if he gets other coaching offers?

I'm hoping he doesn't. HBCUs are a critical point. White people have been waving access to black people for eons and have always, always, always f*cked us over.

Deion will not be given the same time a white coach will to turn things around. NCAA doesn't. They have given head coaching jobs to Blacks but they don't offer the same support.

Especially in a high profile sport like football. The rich alumni donors are the ones in charge and the donors are rich, privileged white men who are often not progressive. That's who decides how much time you have.

I'd be disappointed in Deion if he does. Especially given how a lot of the white press as well as white NCAA coaches and such have sh*t on players going to HBCUs and the programs themselves.

Sends the wrong message. HBCUs aren't good enough, they are a stepping stone. He'll be spending his time telling black recruits the opposite of what he was telling them to go to Jackson State.

I think he'll stick things out until his sons go pro. I couldn't see him living in cold ass, stale ass, lily white, Boulder, Colorado. I bet he ends up at a Florida school if he does decide to leave.

Also, look at the 3D chess move. It's very, very hard to convince a top, 5 star HS player to go to an HBCU and not be on TV every week for Florida State, Texas or Michigan. It's damn near impossible before and Deion has done it....more than once.

That is scary sh*t to the NCAA, those recruits are lost revenue for division 1 schools they were going to.

Get Deion back to the NCAA division schools and its a 2fer. Keep those recruits in PWIs (Predominantly White Institutions) and kill the momentum of top Black HS recruits going to HBCUs.

Then if Deion ever goes back, he looks like a hypocrite.

It's genius.
