The players have one of the worst union contracts in the major sports. Why? I'll call it how I see it. Too many of the black players, don't want to do what is necessary to make power moves against the owners. Too many spending their money and not saving so they can't survive a lock out. Baseball and basketball had enough unity to fight that move. The NFL players don't. The white boys always save their money. It's why you rarely hear of them going broke within 5 years of retiring. They think legacy building right away.A lot more black players do these days, That must be said. Far more than 30 years ago, but not enough. It's the toughest sport physically to have a long career so you'd think they would do what is necessary to push for better conditions financially as well as in the front office and sidelines.Or do I have it wrong? I'm open to correction.
