One thing I don't usually do often, is to share personal photos of myself on social media. I have a profile picture, and that's pretty much it. I find it weird when people share pictures of their kids and family on social media. I get why, because they have to show off their family, but if you're going to share your personal photos, please make your profile private and only visible to your friends.

There are a lot of creeps out there, and if you post pictures of your kids for example, there will be creeps likely out there finding them. So, I private every damn thing. I don't even post pics of family.

What's your view on this? Are you okay posting pics of yourself and your family on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter? Or do you prefer to keep that part of your life for only close friends and family and not on social media?

With privacy restrictions like only my facebook friends and locking it down so that all they can do is comment and not share. But share all willy nilly? ... Hell no, those ppl are crazy

I used to but I deleted all of my social media about 4 years ago and never looked back.

I have very few, the ones I might have up are pretty old. I never felt the need to post a bunch of pictures of myself. I know what I look like.

I was never big on social media I just have a few friends and people I know on the accounts I have i try to keep my social media intake to a minimum . The internet in general was a lot of fun for me as a youth because it seemed like a place to connect and interact with people that shared my interests .

Yes, I usually update my socials daily but they are private with only family on my friends list. So my pictures stay between me, my family, mark zuckerberg, and the NSA.

It's still weird to me that people are so comfortable sharing their personal lives on social media. Good thing you use privacy features, I wouldn't use facebook if they didn't have them. Still though, I find it hard to trust facebook these days with the many lies coming out of their mouths.

Good move. I am debating that very action for myself, but I do use social media to keep in contact with a lot of family. I was thinking of just keeping messenger on my phone, but closing my facebook.

Haha. Pretty much. I could see Mark Zuckerberg in his ivory tower, checking out peoples profiles just because he can. That's what I picture anyway.

I thought of it like this. If I'm not cool enough with you to give you my phone number why am I trying to keep in contact with you? Anyone who needs to know where I'm at, what I'm doing, what I'm eating, where I'm visiting has my number.
