I feel as if schools don't do enough to teach people about black history. I feel like kids these days, aren't taught all the depressing details of the civil rights movement, slavery, hate and more. Do you think schools should do more to include the truths of our past? I know they teach some aspects, but I feel like they overlook a lot of it.

Makes me wonder what schools in white dominated areas taught their kids. I could see many going the route of teaching very little.

I would argue that ALL schools are white dominated as far as curriculum goes. Unless the school specifically has a Black American or Historical African/Pan-African curriculum then it's all whitewashed.

Think about it, Why would the enemy want to implicate himself in our destruction? Why would the enemy suddenly grow a conscience and decide to teach us the REAL story?

Ultimately, if WE want our kids to know OUR HISTORY it's up to US to do the work and teach them so that they are prepared.

Yup we are living the alternate reality where the Nazis were never prosecuted and the Jews have to figure out how to coexist in a society with their abusers. The Nazis would never tell the story of Auschwitz willingly, they would sanitize it as much as possible and gaslight the Jewish population.

BTW, funny you say it as an alternate reality because I recently started to look into Operation: Paperclip....let's just say.....not so alternate a reality my friend.

It goes into more detail about how the CIA helped Nazi’s flee and how it even put Nazi Intelligence in positions of power in West Germany after WW2.

Not only that, they were an inspirational force to the 3rd reich. Think about how cruel this country treated our people for the Nazi’s to look at it and be like “yo I fucks with that, let me copy them”.

Facts girl. Expecting the education system to teach our kids properly is against human nature. It’s essentially self-incrimination and no one in their right man would do such especially if they are not under duress.

I can see most schools if not, all of them being white dominated with a white curriculum.

And true. I can see a lot of schools not wanting to teach about how horrible white people have been to us over the years. I just wish more people supported our truths, but maybe we're the only ones who can teach that.

Schools seem to only teach certain parts of black history. It is as they have all been taught to only teach about the peaceful blacks. Additionally, with the fear of blacks becoming powerful, I believe the information being taught is watered down and only encourage low thinking in blacks.

If we had more Black teachers, things could change; however, parents need to ensure that we are teaching our own history, but sadly we are not interested in our own history. There is strength in knowing where we come from and knowing the power of our people.

Schools are mostly indoctrination tools

Which is why I thank God that I'm pretty perceptive along with the fact that my parents taught me a different point of view. When I took World History and recognized them skipping anything outside of Europe it told it all.
