I blame it on the news and social media. It's so easy to go out there and speak your mind, but it also means people of differencing and dumber opinions come around to share their dumb thoughts that only hurt or make us go backwards. I blame it a lot with social media, because of how everyone is able to have a voice, but instead the voice people have is to complain, argue and lie all the time. It's why I don't touch social media that much, because it's just annoying children arguing amongst each other, throwing out memes with lies and so much more.I wouldn't say it's just the west though, I'd argue it's the world as a whole. We're stuck in this social media rhythm and that's where everything seems to go down these days.
