Yo, I was just at a small Nigerian spot. I tried Oha soup a few times. Its good but too spicy for me.
In no particular order because it depends on my mood and appetite, its traditional soul food. seafood (shrimp, lobster), Caribbean food, Italian food (Linguini pescatore the most).

I go to the Nigerian spot for this drink called Zobo, have you or anyone else tried? Very healthy, has Hibiscus I think as its main ingredient with fruit juices.

The food you had and the Oha soup are primarily an Ibo dish I think but not 100 percent sure.

PS: I can't do the eat with the hands thing in the traditional way of eating it.

I want to try black food all over the diaspora as well as the continent. I've had some east African food. Its not bad. I think we are closer in food to west Africa since the central America, the Caribbean and America got pretty much the same tribes pretty much. Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, Togo, Senegal, etc.
