Facebook is only good for marketing and maybe keeping in touch with family and friends. That's all I ever use it for myself. Otherwise I skip it.I kinda like the Meta name, but wish it wasn't associated with Facebook. Facebook will still be facebook, Meta will just be the name of their parent company. I kinda like the idea behind their VR options in social media, sucks that again, it's by Facebook.But yeah, this is just their way of blowing the controversy under the rug for a bit.
