I haven't been playing a whole lot of Fortnite as of late, I mostly got all the skins/unlocks I wanted this season, so will wait to play again when the new season drops.

This new season sounds interesting. I heard someone mention it may go back in time, like time travel and may result in the old map coming back. Not sure if that's true, but I think that'd be kinda cool.

Oh, that sounds cool. An old map would be interesting.

I finally started playing again last week, been grinding as much of the battle pass as possible.

Man it's been a while since I played Fortnite. I'm still upset at myself for missing out on unlocking Raven last year. :V I play on Xbox and PC, I am not the best at Fortnite. I only got one victory royale under my belt lol.

Same! 🤣 I just like to goof off and have fun. There are a lot of creative maps to check out and the no build mode is a breath of fresh air. The deathrun/parkour maps are pretty interesting as well.

I never got into Fortnite. I can't say I know anyone who is into it. Is it even worth still playing in 2022? Like for someone who has never played it? I been mostly playing Apex Legends.

That's something you're gonna have to see for yourself. Although quite a lot of people play it in 2022. There's a lot going on in it now. There's Regular Battle Royale, No-Build Battle Royale, Team Rumbles, Arena Competitions, Deathrun/Parkour Maps, Prop Hunt Maps, Maps to hang out with friends, there's a LOT.

It's free and if you feel like it, give it a try.

Oh I did not realize they have these many different modes. TDM is appealing to me. But I am likely going to get the next CoD so that will fill my TMD slot for a while. What is the roleplay thing meant to be?

I'm not sure about the Roleplay, haven't been in that mode. From the in-game description of some maps, it seems similar to GTA Roleplaying online. However, most of them seem like a mixed bag.

Oh right, so they use standard gameplay and make their own games of it with some sort of story basis or playstyle. That is interesting. I didn't know they did all this for this game. Pretty nuts it is free. They must make a killing on DLC.

Yea, so many creative map modes to choose from. Literally only buy cosmetics (skins, back bling, harvesting tools, weapon wraps, gliders and contrails), emotes, emoticons, sprays, in-game music tracks and the battle pass. Casually looking at people on Twitch and in the creative mode, folks are buying a LOT of stuff. They even let you buy levels in the battle pass.

The item store is always rotating... some things stay for a day, some stay a little longer. They have been working with celebrities, athletes, and other popular franchises. So, there is literally something for everyone at this point. This is today's item shop....

I might have to check it out. Depending on if I get the next CoD or not. I will see. I am still on the fence with that. I know we have some beta footage out there but the menu and whatever seem a bit complicated.

Fortnite have been one of my favorite Battle Royale games. I miss the days when I used to play it almost all the time but mhen, I have got so much commitment that takes more of my gaming time now. But I'm going to try and get back into playing the new season.
