I've family in Spartanburg, SC & Kings Mountain, NC, my Mother's side of the family.
My Father's side of the family are in Charlotte, NC & Raleigh, NC.

OK...cool! I did the DNA test from Ancestry and I have met some new family members from the DNA matches. One of the members started a Facebook group for SC DNA matches from our family so that we can meet and share information. From that group, I just found out that one of members and I attend the same church. We have seen each other in passing without knowing that we are related. I also found out that one of my choir members is related to me as well. I know that people may have their own opinions about the DNA tests but so far, I have found it helpful in confirming the information that I have and finding more branches to my family tree.
