It's no longer news that we need to create more awareness concerning black life education and the realities of racism perpetrated to blacks in diaspora.
Not a lot of programs or documentaries actually touch issues concerning this that is why the few that take it upon themselves to educate the youths about these societal issues using a more entertaining as well as straight to the point approach are seen as rare gems to me.
Grown-ish is one of such TV series that reveals a lot of struggles faced by black youth in the all white colleges and how if they rise to speak with one voice can help each other scale through the storm and come out strong as a community.
The writers of Grown-ish deserves more accolade's for the wonderful impact they have been giving to the world on the difficulties that black youths are faced with.
