If poverty is the issue why do we see these shootings happening weekly in the US and not in 3rd world countries in Africa?Poverty has always been the main factor in violent crimes historically in any large civilization. The Persian empire, the Roman empire, British empire (London, Liverpool) and French empire (Paris), all the way down.
The Irish that came to America were largely rural, very conservative and non violent. A generation of not being able to find a job and at one point mid to late 1800s, the Irish contributed to almost 70 percent of crime in NYC and formed violent gangs (Gangs of NY, Irish mafia). The Jews that came by the tens of thousands from eastern Europe late 1800s from Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, rural, very religious, non violent gave us Dutch Schultz, Meyer Lansky, Bugsy Siegel and 100s if not 1000s of others a generation later. Why? Poverty and they saw no way out of that poverty but crime.
We are no different and its by design. It's a vicious cycle, deny us economically, we revert to crime to eat, robbing, drugs, gangs, then use that crime to get non Blacks to vote and then use that crime to fuel the corporate prison complex, sell drill and other records, etc.
This is one of the big reasons reparations is necessary, among others. It's also why Black Empowerment is necessary and fought against. When you have pride in yourself and a code, crime drops. Most of the Nation of Islam were former convicts at one point like Malcolm X. The NOI had a code and self respect. Black Panthers had pride and self respect and stopped crime.
The powers that be are well aware of what being code means. It's why they call it 'reverse racism' and say its 'BLM', 'CRT', 'Woke' and other buzz words. All we can do is be on code and influence those in our circles. It's never going to be fast enough but we are gaining more and more faster than any other black groups like the Black church, Black democrats, NAACP.
