I have a friend whose niece's father actually caught a dude mid-rape. He was assaulting a woman in her car. He pulled out his gun and shot him on the spot. Killed him. He didn't get charged or go to prison for it. I think most people have an understanding of two things... It is not okay to abuse women and it is not okay to abuse children. I am glad the law still sees it that way as well. However, I know many cities in America and some states as a whole would have locked his ass up for that.
