What pushed me away, as a woman, was the amount of abuse that the NFL swept under the rug. There were dudes straight beating the crap out of their girlfriends, wives, etc. and they would cover it up because they didn't want to risk losing a star player. I have heard of big names raping women even but nothing is ever done.That kind of bull don't sit right with me. I don't care how much a dude is worth to a team, that kind of crap should not be tolerated on any level. Reminds me of back in high school when the star football players could legit get away with anything they wanted and the school would just look the other way.
