I dream all the time of winning the lottery, but I don't think I would ever, even if I play it every single day, the chance of me winning is so low. But, there is always that chance that I could win. If you happened to win the lottery, what is the first thing you'd do?

I know for a fact I'd buy myself a new house a decent car, some new clothes, and of course some new toys like video game consoles and games, maybe some tech stuff. Just about everything really. :D

I might invest some into other opportunities, and I think I would also donate a lot of it to charity and to special causes. What about you though? What are some things you'd do with your lottery winnings?

I’ve heard that most lottery winners end up wishing they never won. Say family and friends lose their ever loving mind

But my people don’t even act like that.

I would take out a lump sum. Zero out all debt including mortgage. Pad out all my accounts with the max that can be insured. I would take a mill and break it up among family. Mama bout to eat. She deserve it. I would give myself some serious spending cash, and put the rest somewhere where it can stack interest. After a year that interest would be the salary I pay myself every year. I’m set for life.

You know that very reasonable crap I just typed. You know dam well that aint happening. Somebody is about to cash in nialongdisbelief

Those stories about what happen to past lottery winners are crazy. It’s like that money cursed their life.

Well it's definitely going to curse Geoff...he gonna do his best scarface impersonation sitting in front of a pile of blow and just start snorting.

    If I won the lotto:

    1. I'd immediately pay off all my debt, buy a triplex straight cash, and move my mom in one of the units.
    2. Get land in a rural area, get underground permits, build an underground bunker with food supplies to last over 3 years.
    3. Open a bank account in all major countries and have the equivalent of $25k sitting in it.
    4. Buy a bunch of guns, ammo, and start doing survivalist training.
    5. Bury $50k somewhere on my land. Put $100k in some type of vehicle for my son.
    6. On top of the land I'd build these modular homes.

Jay is prepping for the zombie apocalypse. But I’m feeling it. You have to have a plan other than balling out.

Why do people suddenly start businesses out of nowhere? You don’t know what you’re doing just stick to the basics.

I actually know two people who won. One hit the jackpot on a slot machine and the other on a scratch off. Around a million each and both are broke and bitter now lol

The thing about it is if you have bad saving habits with $1000, you gon have the same problem with $1M.

I don't play the lottery either. I prefer the casino because it is more fun to me. I only take a specific amount of money and never use the ATM. i just hope if you give to a charity that it is not a mainstream one and one of the small ones that you know 100 percent are putting the work in. I hate seeing so many scam organizations that only do a small amount of work but raised so much money. This is shown by how much the executives are paid.

I am not surprised. I don't know how many times I keep telling folks...You cannot stay rich if you live an over the top lifestyle and that money is not sustained. For the majority of the folks, it is not sustained which causes them to lose their standard of living. The same thing applies to the majority of ball players. Their family members get pissed when the athlete says no to them regarding giving big money or big things like an expensive car or house. The average time in the NFL or NBA is maybe 3 years or so. I hate seeing somebody come from poverty and only is rich for a short time due to a lack of financial money management.

    1. I would pay off all my debts (Loans, Credit Cards, Hospital Bills, etc.)
    2. I would buy up a block of vacant and/or non-owner occupied properties and turn them all into Rent to Own properties
    3. I would bet on College Sports and use that as a never ending piggy bank
    4. I would move me and my pops to the villa in Belize
    5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed.

    1. First thing, treat the family with a big meal at a fancy restaurant.
    2. Pay off my debts.
    3. Check out the property developments between Kenya and Uganda.
    4. Invest in buy to let in specific student towns in the country.
    5. Take a trip to HK and/or Japan whilst plotting next move.

I would settle any debt I have. Then I would look into buying a home for myself as well as my parents. I would likely get a few cars too. One new one for my standard car and one that is older but in good condition that has no computer BS in it for back up if those solar flares do end up happening lol

After that, I will look into donating some of it and investing. Might start a business online. Something easy to manage by myself.

We're also looking into hotels, apartment complexes & assisted living properties.
