De La Soul and The Roots: Stakes Is High | The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

How I feel about the Roots. Dope band, but the way they were shilling for the Dems last election make me look at them funny style. I'm also not a fan of "Blackface" Jimmy Fallon......but anyway, both of these collab performances are pretty legendary.

I'm a fan of The Roots. They have gotten some criticism for taking the late night tv band gig, which I understand, but I would like to know specifically what they have done as Dem shills. I googled 'the roots band with democratic party' but couldn't find anything other than a rap re-cap of the 2020 election.

I don't watch them late night much at all but I do know they are in some corny comedy sketches time to time but that's part of the gig in late night TV.

On a side note, Black Though's epic freestyle has to be in my top 2 or 3 best ever spit.
