Black people go right along with the myth too. Some are so indoctrinated that when you present them with evidence they can only accept it if the source is a White person. I was talking to someone about Mansa Musa and they could not believe that West Africans knew about the "North American" landmass before White people. I had to show them a video of a White man saying it on Youtube for them to believe it.

Some inaccuracies in some of the Twitter comments. It was a quid pro quo arrangement between Mexico and runaway slaves that existed ephemerally and not Mexico's fanciful magnanimous pro black protectionism sentiments. Funny how that alleged 'pro black' sentiment is not exhibited today, huh?!
