If you look back in history, you will see that "fair skin" was considered royalty and for many cultures and countries today, it still is. The reason was that wealthy people weren't out in the sun doing labor so their skin would be fairer.This mindset never went away even though we see white women out there tanning themselves to a crisp.It just baffles me because for a lot of these white men, Asian, black, and Latino women are fetishes for them and they are okay with it!! I knew a guy who was obsessed with Japanese, Korean, and Chinese women... So much so that he said he would NEVER marry a woman who wasn't one of those three things. Dude was a dirty blond white boy with blue eyes.
