Same. But I f with his new music tho. He just dropped two new songs and I really like both of them. Quality Atlanta music.

Killer Mike loves his community, we just disagree on some tactics. I would never, ever cancel him though. He's a brother.....straight up brother. Recycling black dollars is essential.

I will digress a moment and say something regards to the original post and the Jewish responsibility thing. I love reading history. When any community faces isolation, has their economic base attacked, they prey on each other. Jews were no different. 100 years ago, you got a couple generations of Jewish gangsters. They worked with the Italian mafia. We only talk about a handful that the media made famous or they became infamous: Meyer Lansky, Dutch Schultz, Bugsy Siegel among them. There were actually 1000s more on a local level in NY, Philly, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, etc. they had 3 things in common 99 percent of the time. They came from solid, peaceful 2 parent homes, with hard working fathers. They were poor AF. They were east European (Lithuanian, Russian, Ukrainian, etc). At that time the Jews who came prior (pre 1880s) were from central and west Europe (Austria, Germany, France, Holland, England, etc). They didn't f*ck with the east European jews, didn't accept them in their synagogues. These new arrival of Jews who came in a huge wave in the 1890s to the turn of the century faced massive antisemitism. Practiced a different type of Judaism than the previous Jews, spoke different, etc. They were broke AF and their kids got into street stuff and that's how you got Meyer Lansky and Bugsy Siegel. They started out robbing their own people. Just like the Sicilians in NY and Chicago. It's easier than going to the Irish, Italian, German or Black neighborhood to rob, which was pretty much impossible.

The lower east side of NY, called the Bowery was a crime ridden, poor AF jewish area 100 years ago. Same with Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Poor eastern Euroepean Jews, mainly Russian but other areas, with push carts, etc. On a side note, a few of them left the east coast to go to LA and start the movie industry because LA was open territory where all kinds of folks could go and start without as much ingrained bigotry. Even blacks left Texas, Mississippi an Oklahoma to go there (my uncle in Inglewood was from Tulsa, left at 16).

My long azz point is that in America, when you face systemic targeting crime against each other, no economic base. It's not an excuse but an explanation. White folks gaslight us that how f*cked up the hood is unique to blacks like no one else did the same thing when they faced systemic bigotry. They all did the same thing. The Irish, Sicilians, Jews, even Germans. There are areas of West Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky with poor AF whites who have NEVER ever had success. They are Scots Irish that have been poor since the 1700s, literally. The extreme areas have incest and inbreds to this day. Even when some areas got an industry like coal mining, they were paid like shyt. No one talks about them. They are white and broke and never had any success. The government wrote them off a few hundred years ago. There are only 2 famous white people that ever came out of West Virginia, Jerry West the NBA great and Senator, ex KKK member Roberty Byrd. Maybe white choclate Jason Williams if you want to add him. But that's pretty much it.

Jews, Irish, Sicilians got accepted as white and the boot on their necks got lifted. We never had that. Even while they were facing bigotry for being quasi white they got far, far more access to powers than Blacks at that time couldn't even dream of. There were Jewish supreme court justices and secretary of Treasury back in the 1920s and 1930s. There were Irish mayors of Chicago, Boston and Philly back in the late 1800s and 1900s. NYC had an Italian mayor in the 1920s (LaGuardia who the airport is named after) and head of major bank (Bank of America out of SF). Italians, Jews and Irish were in baseball 50 years before blacks were allowed.

No group has faced more and any other group would have been gone by now with that kind of systemic targeting. There are 1000s of Indian tribes that are extinct. Delaware is named after an Indian tribe that no longer exists. Extinct.

No other people could have survived the middle passage. Poor Europeans were in the hull of ships with far more food and freedom and certain percentage died en route while we survived in chains for weeks, with food, rats would turn down. Whites were also enslaved by the Arabs and didn't survive, but you see black Arabs all over northern Africa and if you go to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, you see jet black descendants of slaves. No white ones.

White people play this 2 sides that Neely Fuller says, 'Blacks pick yourselves up' but when you try they sabotage it overtly or covertly. Not an excuse, but no group has faced anything close to what we have. Not even close. Even the red Indians have their own lands and casinos, etc and are left alone to pursue wealth while enjoying affirmative action and let into colleges based on their heritage to the point white folks will lie that they have indian blood (Elizabeth Warren in Congress).

The tide is turning though, this current movement is scaring white folks because we have learned from the mistakes the civil rights and other prior movements made and are on code and its growing. Growing fast. Even the Republicans now are complaining about reparations as if its going to happen and that's a clear sign that its inevitable. Reparations would be a global gigantic L for white America. It's telling the world they talk cap and they were and are systemically racist to today. That's a historic L. Secondly, they know it will touch off a global movement going to the Caribbean, Africa. And this may be the catalyst for a real not one sided pan Africanism. Right now its one way, but I believe there is a strong possibility enough Caribbean and Africans will come on board eventually once America takes that L.

not a fan of run the jewels, though i see the appeal. and some of the music is solid. but I think this solo record gonna be a very solid one.

sidenote:
Outkast had a helluva eye for choosing talent. Over ten years later, Killer Mike and Janelle Monae are still active in the industry when many artists couldn't survive one hit.
