Secondly, and this is no shade to her. No parent should outlive their children. Ever. A B1 mom would be reacting and doing things differently if you know what I mean. I am not saying this grieving mom doesn't love black people and isn't down for her people. But B1 prepares you for the tragedies better than just randomly happening.
God forbid something happened to my child if I had one, I'd be calling him a racist, I'd be on Tariq and TBA and all B1 programs. My heart grieves when I see not only a black child especially get murdered but anger more than I describe when the murder is being stonewalled by the white system.
