Damn, this is sad news. I've always liked Master P. He's one of the solid ones in the music industry. I never really listened to his music, not really my style. When I seen how he treated Snoop when he was on No Limit Records, I knew he was a real one.
It's too bad about his daughter, I hate drugs, wish our people never got mixed up with the chit.

My cousin came home from the federal pen a full blown meth junkie. He stole ALL of my grandmother's anniversary silver out of her house, he can't come back.

I know he pulled out ALL stops to help her. Like my granny tried with my cousin but the stealing was the last straw. I have a question. When did blacks start using meth? That's pink peoples thing.

I agree. So many families are dealing with children and relatives addicted to drugs. Young people today are so lost, and it crosses all socioeconomic statuses. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do, what kind of child rearing you provide, or what source of resources you can offer some children, their will is simply stronger than ours, and I am speaking from very personal experiences.

There is a price to pay for disobedience. Sometimes you stray to far you can't make it back to a good place. Drugs do nothing but destroy our people, either directly through usage, or indirectly by leaving family members left behind to pick up the pieces of the destruction left behind. It's hard watching your children choose the streets. My heart goes out to all parents dealing with children who abuse any type of drugs. It's a blight on the community we need to be hyper vigilant about. It's the easiest way to steer our kids from their destinies, and most times their little friends and movies/tv are introducing kids to the streets. It's all fun and games, until it's not.

What is with young people and mental issues and drug addictions? It is out of control and has been for a good decade now yet people complain about guns? The drugs and the mental health issues are causing the mass shootings. People need to wake the f up.

I am very sorry for his loss though. No parent should have to bury their child. This is going to be so hard on him. I hope he has people to talk to and a place to really find support.

I say the same thing. People think having a huge amount of money will fix every problem. There is a famous saying that says "more money, more problems." She could've become overwhelmed by all the negativity that exists in the mainstream media. It could be that almost everybody she was around was using her. I guess we will never know unless a close family member or friend speaks out.

You always heard of young people dying in the entertainment world, even if they are not in a direct spotlight. It is just sad that this continues to happen yet no one talks about it. There should be some sort of month of awareness for this or something. More people need to talk about it and people who have lost friends, loved ones, children, parents, etc. need to have a platform so more people understand what is happening. Hollywood is toxic.

Yep. And people need to stop hounding people with a lot of money for money. I know this makes people angry and/or depressed since people keep asking the same question repeatedly.

That is part of the problem for sure but the culture surrounding Hollywood and people's obsession with famous people doesn't help. A lot of pressure is put on them. Is it any wonder they end up on drugs or with mental health issues?

Don't get me started with obsession with Hollywood. They are just regular people. People put them on a pedastal.

It's really very sad losing a daughter or even any kid at all and do do it to drugs, that's the most painful part of it. I feel for him and hope it's something that he would be strong enough to pick himself up from soon. It's very sad 😔.

Amen to that. This is my prayer every single day that I wake up because it's very depressing for a parent to bury their child. My grandmother couldn't deal with when she had to bury one of her son, my uncle. She was devastated.
