This is all fine and well but it won't bring him back. I hope they use this money to get away from this area and establish something in his name. Maybe bring more awareness to young black men and women about the dangers of unchecked cops on the streets. Teach them ways to protect themselves as best they can. We need to make moves to get these badge-carrying thugs off our streets. We should be voting these people in, not letting anyone who wants to be a cop, be a cop.

We need to see cops have better training. We need to have cops vetted for racism. We need cops that actually protect us, not the state. Cops need to be elected/voted in. Being a cop gives the average citizen POWER over other people. How is it that anyone can just roll in and be a cop? Sheriffs out in white towns are elected yet cops in cities are just given a badge.
