Yup he down talked the brotha’s genius ideas and was insinuating that he was crazy. I saw that there was no code there and had to keep it pushing. I love the show and he and chuck nice got good chemistry but I’ll pass.

That's a shame. Neil was the reason I got properly interested in science. I always thought that StarTalk was cool as well but he always did appear to be c🦝🦝nish at times, should have seen this coming.

I like him. He did say he made it a note of staying out of racial politics because he wanted to be seen as a astrophysicist and not a black astrophysicist. Fair enough (not likely in today's world). But when he did, I took it as a "veiled' calling out on racism. White conservatives hate him because he's an atheist. He gets asked questions on non astronomy stuff and is expected to be learned about stuff he's not schooled on. General science stuff. And if he gets any of it wrong, its a 'gotcha' 'See, he's wrong about everything'. He's married to Becky so that clouds things as well. Not making excuses for him, but my guess is he was nerdy AF. He's Black and Puerto Rican (mom is PR). So, I think sisters (and boricuas) didn't holla and he was into science big time. These first two clips made me see that he was low key a rida...

I'm a huge fan of the original Avatar movie and am a bit pissed they are taking so long to make a sequel. Knowing how the term 'Blue Lives Matter' is a political hot button, I'd have advised him not to press that send button.
