We’ve been talking about Jesus for 400 years and we are in a downward spiral. We need to change course. You can have your spiritual beliefs but it shouldn’t trump knowing how to navigate your terrain, build, and advocate for self. A lot of people use the Bible as a cloak for their cowardice and that’s what I have an issue with. People preaching Jesus and they die and their kids don’t even have enough to bury them. Spiritually speaking, if you were really living the righteous life, would you really be in a "downward spiral"? I have no problem learning about micro/macro economics and implementing sound investment strategies. Let me be clear, I am not a saint but I do see the need for a moral structure in the lives of our community. People that are preaching Jesus understand the meaning of this life.
