It's no secret it's becoming trendy to be "spiritual" and have self-care practices in place. What habits, tools, and steps are you taking to help you not absorb unwanted energy from people and our environments.

My Habits
1. Walking/Hiking/ being outside in nature, specially waterfalls and beaches really help me find center and peace. I find time daily/weekly(longer hikes)
2. Visualization techniques/ segment intending
3. Stop venting and letting others vent to me. As soon as it gets gossip aht aht..let's talk about something else! I know I have grown lol. I no longer need or want "the tea".I am good sipping my own tea thanks 😊

I’m an introvert so I preserve my peace reading books and alone time. Without that I get stressed, depressed, and start to lose structure in life.

Yes such a good practice. I was a book worm in grade school. In college and my 20s that passion fell off. I have started regaining my love.

When I was young I would beg my mom to buy me a book when we went to the grocery store lol. We get there I go straight to the magazine/ book aisle.

Alone time is addictive as hell, I don't answer my phone, I don't respond to DMs, nothing. Cleaning is also another way I protect my peace because as they say, cleanliness is godliness.

Habit 1
My peaceful place is anywhere I’m on my road bike. I bought my first expensive bIke last year, a Trek Domane and 20-30 mile rides are my getaway. I put on my bike computer, turn up my sounds, keep my cadence high and my head low and get to it.

Habit 2
Cooking. Something about cooking a meal is therapeutic to me. Trying new seasonings and new pairings and then getting to enjoy after it is all said and done.

Habit 3
A stogie. Cigar, JW Black, and some music. Perfection.

How you gon tell us the liquor but not the type of cigar? What you puff on? I like Diamond Crown Julius Caesar and if I want something super smooth I go for a Tabak Especial Negra.

To clear my mind, ease stress, I'll shower for 40 45 minutes, with some music. Feels like the water is cleaning my mind when it's running over my head.
Or I'll clean, something about cleaning makes me feel very calm.

Doing the 365 daily lessons in A Course in Miracles has not only kept my peace, it's grown it.
I also meditate and contemplate oneness.

I used to go to the magazine aisle and look at Guns and Ammo and Car and Driver magazine. When I got through with those I would look at the rap magazines.

Those are two good picks, I pick up a Romeo and Julieta 1876 Nicaragua or Java Madero if I’m having a latte. If I’m sipping wine or a brown liquor I go for Via Havana or a Rocky Patel.

What’s your favorite read? I’m finally getting into the 48 Laws of Power to figure out how to run the McDonald’s I’m the fry cook at.

My favorite book though is Confessions of an Economic Hitman.

Right now I am reading The Complete Works of Florence Scovel Shinn. Been reading alot of metaphysical type books. My favorite ugh....that's hard.

Clear polish sometimes when I know I'ma be signing some contracts, you know something you wouldn't be knowing about.

What do you do to find your peace? Pay your payday loan back and then wait half a day before taking out a new one?
