They didn't even make identifying her and ensuring they were cuffing the right person a priority. They were just like if it's the wrong person then whatever.

She said her name was Jasmine when they first walked up. That's not even close to Jaselyn and they still cuffed her.

All they had to do was ask for her ID. Once they saw it said Jasmine that's it. Leave her alone.

All this BS about if they know Jaselyn is horse crap. It is not the citizens job to help their investigation.

I don't think that just because you have a good job it means that you're a sellout or anything.

I think we should all be vying to have a good job.

I have a federal government job myself. But I use that job to do better. As a nurse I try to do everything I can to ensure that my black patients are getting the same treatment as everyone else. As we all know blacks aren't treated the same in healthcare unfortunately. But I believe the more of us they can get into some of these fields the better we can do to help our community.

No police that's kind of a different thing. I don't think it's a bad thing for black people to try and become police. As a matter of fact I was a police officer myself before. However the difference in that field is I see the black people who become police tend to lean over towards that white supremacy side and end up selling out their community. I'm not saying that every single black police officer does that but it is definitely more likely in the field of law enforcement.

Exactly. Why escalate a situation beyond asking for identification? They clearly didn't care, & never do. To them, it could have been any Black soul to stand in the place of the true guilty party, & things would have sufficed. There is rarely any substantial accountability for these race soldiers, so the risk of having "walk back" their actions is alim to none.
