Since HBCUs are all the rave now. Here's a decent read about the Bayou Classic.
It's not too bad if you like history. I read it during a trip from the Middle East. Took me about 3-4 days to read.

Thanks for the disclaimer. I am assuming this book is fair to each side of the Bayou Classic. I have no problem with reading material from them on our folks as long as it is truthful and unbiased.
