The heritage of what would become macOS had originated at NeXT, a company founded by Steve Jobs following his departure from Apple in 1985. There, the Unix-like NeXTSTEP operating system was developed, before being launched in 1989. The kernel of NeXTSTEP is based upon the Mach kernel, which was originally developed at Carnegie Mellon University, with additional kernel layers and low-level user space code derived from parts of BSD.[14] Its graphical user interface was built on top of an object-oriented GUI toolkit using the Objective-C programming language.

I am fine with people using Apple. Like I get why so many do but the people who act like they are part of a special club and are better than other people because they have Apple this or that, they can keep a far distance from me. I am not on that. I remember being in the Starbucks close to where I live and these two white dudes were arguing over iPhones and Galaxies. Like trying to say one is better than the other and the other person is dumb for thinking otherwise. Is this what peak humanity looks like? Arguing over phone brands? If so, we are all doomed LOL

I don't think so it gives you any extra perks as they don't care. So I can't see any reason to go to store and buy as better to buy from local stores as they may gives some good deals.

Although I'm not iPhone user.
