I still remember back in the day, when stand-up was a platform and comedy was a space for people to be brutally honest. People like George Carlin (for better or worse) kept it as real as he could and while I never agreed with him on everything (one of the big ones being God and faith), he ALWAYS called out the whiney white liberals who ruin everything. He said like back in the '70s and '80s that we need to stop listening to them. Funny how when he died and others who criticized these people, comedy started to shift. Imagine if these people got their way. We'd have nothing but PC comedy.
